The event in Sitka includes a chance to taste local foods and learn about local efforts from composting to conservation. The doors open at 6 p.m and the film shows at 7 p.m. We also want to will give viewers a chance to respond to the film afterwards on camera, to talk about what the film provokes and to add their personal story.
Proceeds from admissions in Sitka will go towards seed money for a new local greenhouse and for post-productions expenses for the film.

We're jumping in and showing an advanced screening version of Eating Alaska next week.
